Morning and welcome to my weekly newsletter.

It has been a busy week at "pumphy" with competitions and visiting parties alike. One of the first trophies of the season has already been put in someone's trophy cabinet with Kenny Marr beating Billy Bishop in the final. Well done Kenny.

Coming up is my Annual Pro's Day on the 31st of May. This is a great day for the club and with a prize on almost every hole then it really is a day to enjoy, call me in shop for a tee time but be quick as times are running out!

We have had such a fantastic and positive response to the new newsletter and website which we launched last week. We are pleased that so many of you have either spoken to me and the team in the shop or sent me an email. That really is the aim of this weekly communication, to inform and to encourage more golfers to talk to us about their game and how they would like to improve. Have you set your aims for the year? But we also want to feature you!
