Welcome to this week's newsletter, as I write this I am just getting ready to go play golf at Red Tail Golf Club In Orlando. I am currently over here on holiday with the family checking out the theme parks. Great fun but long days in the heat, so I don't know how my Scottish blue skin is going to cope with the sun. I will get some pictures of the course and hopefully stay clear of the crocodiles.

British Open Sunday - 23rd July

As mentioned last week I was hoping to get permission from the committee to host an event prior to the last day of the final round of the Open. We will have a shotgun start commencing at 11am and this will hopefully have us back in the bar for a short presentation (and a few drinks) in time for the final round action starting on Sky Sports. Let's make this a magical Sunday, hoping to get 20ish teams of 4 playing so spread the word. Last year's final day at the Open was spectacular so let's hope for more of the same. The format is as follows.  

- Texas scramble  
- £5 entry per player 
- 4 drives per player (1 must be par 3)
- Ladies will receive an extra 3 strokes  
- Winning team will receive a claret jug
- Excellent prizes to be won 

Please give team names (be creative) and players names to pro shop along with the entry fee.


Cobra Fitting Day - 31st July  

Another demo day from Cobra after the success of the one in May, I have arranged another one for you. Lots of people lowering their scores since the last one so again don't miss out on this FREE fitting day. Bookings available in Pro Shop.


TaylorMade Fitting Day - 14th August

Again I have managed to secure another day from TaylorMade. Very lucky to get another one of these FREE days as they are so popular. Again it's FREE. Do not miss it even if it's just to try the product. No obligation so just lots of fun improving your game. Bookings to be made in Pro Shop.
