Hi folks, hope you are all well and enjoying this recent spell of amazing weather, it's been great to see so many of you around and enjoying the golf course which just seems to be getting better and better each week. I also have had quite a few people taking advantage of some coaching this week and it's great to see so many of you coming to seek some help as it will really pay off in the long run! Keep practicing!
After the recent TaylorMade demo day I received this email from Nicol...
"David, short note to say thanks for the recent TaylorMade demo day. The new SLDR Driver is performing well and reinforced the fact I should have changed clubs long time ago. The "fitter" appears to have done his job and the ball flight, distance are just as he said they would be. Long may it continue!! As long as it stays that way, you won't see me for lessons, but as golf is what it is, things are unlikely to stay good for long. Thanks again. Nicol."

Last week at Pumpherston
Last Sunday we held our annual Invitation Greensomes that was well attended with 63 pairs. The winners were Ian McConnachie (pictured below) and I Smith who had a great nett score of 60.8. The winners of the scratch prize were Kerr Anderson (pictured below) and S.McBride with a gross 68. Well done to everyone who played.
This week at Pumpherston
This weekend we have the Ladies Open on the 12th July and a Gents Medal on the Sunday 13th.
Why not make a day/night of it on the Sunday and take in the final of the world cup with a few beers in the atmosphere of the clubhouse?!
Look out for new Nike apparel hitting the store in the next few days, especially if you like anything Mr McIlroy is wearing at the Scottish Open or next week at the British Open (see below)!
