Can I just take this chance to clear up a few points in the rules that I have heard players unsure about. - No gimmies no matter how short.
- If a ball is lost it is lost, doesn’t matter if it’s plugged or under leaves, although it may be unlucky you have lost your ball, either go back to where you played it from under penalty or pick up on that hole.
- It is preferred lies everywhere, it is lift clean and place, you can use your mat in the fairway and rough if you please, just not in hazards.
