Hi folks and welcome to my latest newsletter! Again the sun continues to beat down on us and hopefully you are all taking advantage of the good conditions and playing some nice golf.
I am sure we were all blown away with Rory's performance at Hoylake?! I certainly was and I reckon this is the start of a great run for him and who knows how many majors he can add on over the next few years. Can he catch Tiger's 14 majors?
There was a statistic mentioned on Sunday when Rory had won that said he is only the third person to have won three majors by age of 25 - the other two golfers being Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus! Now that isn't bad company to be in and just shows the potential that the young man from Northen Ireland has.
Now if you like Rory's outfit on the final day (pictured above), or any of his outfits during the week, you can get these in store now! All are available and I think some of you will look pretty nice in them - maybe it will make you play like Rory?

A few new additions to the shop this week folks.

At the club on Sunday we held our Claret Jug Texas Scramble which was fought out with 26 teams of 5 players. Winners, with a nett 54, were the team consisting of Nick Cummings, Martin Ketchion, Richie Menzies (not in picture), Darren Gracey and Shaun Toal (new members and welcome to Pumpherston).
This week we have the Pumpherston Open and when I last checked it is a full house which is great news. This is a great chance for non-members to play our course in great condition. Hope you all have a great day!
