Short game skills on form in Winter Series
42 crack commando golfers battled the elements this week on winter greens and I can see from the points that everyone is really mastering the short course. Hopefully the weather will pick up soon to allow us to sharpen the game for the season starting shortly. In first class, Martin Lennox had 46 points and pipped Barry Seath by a point who had 45 points. In second class James Cannon nudged out Peter Screen into second place on the BIH rule as both players had a cracking 49 points. In the magic two’s first class was won by Ian Reid who had a two at the 11th which was the drawn hole this week. In second class, the lucky hole was the 8th and this was won by Peter Screen and Peter Kelly. Well done to everyone who played.
