Hi there and welcome to my latest edition of my newsletter.
I have just spent the weekend at St Andrews golfing with 12 of my mates. We had a great trip and would highly recommend playing both of the courses we played. We played Drumoig on the Saturday and on the Sunday we played the Jubilee course at St Andrews. This was a first time for me on both courses and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
It was also the first time I had really used one of the "rocket launcher" mats. These are definitely the best out there! Remember I have a few left and they only cost £10 each. Here are a couple of snaps from our trip away - I think some of us look quite spiffing in our bright trousers, also available in store.
Some amazing scores to report in the Winter Series this week.
Saturday
The First Class was won by Brian O'Connell with an excellent 43 points ahead of one of our new members David Davidson with 38 points - you are now cut to scratch David, welcome to the club! It was Second Class that threw the amazing scores up with Richard Dourley coming in with a blistering 45 points only to be pushed into second place by another new member, Fraser Scotcher, with an amazing 47 points. Well done, Fraser! Great scoring, maybe not the best way to introduce yourself to the membership! The lucky winner of the Magic 2 was Ronnie Blake who picked up £32 for the only 2 of the day on hole 13.
Sunday
Sunday, as usual, seemed to be a busier event with 75 golfers turning up to play - brilliant effort again! The winner of First Class was Colin Keddie who pipped Neil Anderson on the BIH, both players had an excellent 40 points. In Second Class it was Derek Millar who pipped John Dewar on BIH with a more respectable 41 points. The lucky winner of the Magic 2 was Barry Smith - the lucky hole was hole 4 and Barry was the only one with a 2 there. He picked up £66 for his troubles. Happy days!

I have just taken delivery of some nice Pumpherston Logo Glenmuir sweaters. These are priced at £49 and are received in a lovely presentation box. These would make an ideal Chrimbo pressie so pop in for a look.
