Hi folks,
Welcome to my latest newsletter. What a week to come back to! It's always hard to come back to work after a holiday but this week with the weather seemed an awful lot harder. Still, it gave me time to catch up with a few things including the Winter Series result from the weekend of the 21st November which can be seen below.

Sat 21 Nov - 39 people played in this events, with an outstanding score in Second Class. Gordon Roberts came in with a magnificent 48 points, six ahead of Ronnie Blake who must have thought his 42 points would be good enough for victory. In First Class Steve Bleakley won the day with 40 points, three ahead of Tam Laird. The 11th hole was the Magic 2 hole and Alan Leishman was the only golfer to make a two.
Sun 22 Nov - A slightly bigger turnout on the Sunday with 49 golfers taking part. Two golfers tied at the top of First Class with 39 points, Ian Adamson and Jack Marr finishing first and second place, respectively. Alan Birnie won Second Class with 41 points, one ahead of Willie Hunter in second. Sally Birnie and Steve Bogan both carded a 2 on the Magic 2 hole to take home £24.50.
